Right on the edge of Ocala National Forest lies Juniper Springs; a beautiful recreational area that was helped shaped by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Filled with swimming, canoeing, and kayaking the springs is also home to the Historic Millhouse. The waterwheel still turns, but no longer powers the generator that used to be located inside the house. Along with the waterwheel, the CCC also helped construct the Juniper Creek Nature Trail that is about 1.4 miles long. Overall this park was really nice, and the campsite spots were relatively secluded (enough space from your neighbor) and very tidy.
